THE WEEKEND
Something important happens when a man unplugs from the world of work, cell phones, ESPN, and the Wall Street Journal. Our Hearts Alive & Free Weekend is a time for you to get away from the craziness of life so you can rediscover what God intended when He created you as a man in His image (Genesis 1:27).
The Weekend is a four-day quest into the recovery of your masculine heart based on the book Wild at Heart. This is not a typical men’s event. Through transparent stories of other men, teaching sessions, films, adventure activities, and guided periods of reflection, we will journey together on a daring expedition to get your masculine heart back—a heart alive and free (Psalm 119: 32; John 10:10; Galatians 5:1).
The adventure begins on Thursday afternoon and concludes at about noon on Sunday. The setting is Timber Wolf Lake, an 800+ acre Young Life Camp located in the northern part of Michigan’s lower peninsula (click here>> for Google Map link).
